The public is invited to attend an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. June 10 at the new Franciscan Point Surgery Center.
The $12 million, 27,000-square-foot facility, which opened in May, offers four surgical suites and two endoscopy/procedure rooms that were added to the Franciscan Point outpatient treatment complex.
Outpatient surgery services include:
- Orthopedics
- Gastrointestinal
- Hand and plastic
- General
- Podiatry
- Ear, nose and throat
- Colo-rectal
- Urology
- Ophthalmology
- Pain management
The open house will feature tours, giveaways, health information, entertainment, refreshments and free screenings for blood pressure and blood glucose, bone density and skin cancer.
Raffle prizes will include a Kindle Fire, a Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza gift certificate and a mountain bike.
Franciscan Point opened on the 100-acre site at 12800 Mississippi Parkway, which is located about one-half mile east of Interstate 65, along and just south of U.S. 231, in August 2008.
Franciscan Point is under the auspices of Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point.
