A Safe Sitter babysitting course will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 15 at Marian Education Center, located at Franciscan St. Anthony Health – Crown Point, 1201 S. Main St.
Participants will receive tips to make them more confident care-givers. They will learn safety and security precautions, information about child development and age-appropriate activities, as well as business aspects of babysitting. Participants will need to pass tests to show they have necessary skills to handle emergencies.
Fee is $60. Class size is limited. Registration and payment are required before the class begins.
Classes also are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 30 and July 14.
