Grab your running shoes and let’s hit the pavement because Franciscan Omni Health & Fitness will be hosting their 6th Annual Firecracker 5k Run/Non-Competitive Walk on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
This Gold Cup event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and is held onsite at Omni Health & Fitness – 810 Michael Drive, Chesterton, IN.
Race day registration will be available from 6:00-7:00 a.m. All participants, pre-registered included, will need to complete a waiver on race day if not completed ahead of time. Please arrive early if you plan to complete your waiver on race day. From June 1 thru June 22, pre-registered runners are welcome to stop by Omni Health & Fitness to complete their race waiver ahead of time to avoid longer wait times on race day.
This new & improved, flat, fast 3.1 mile course will be held in the neighborhood adjacent to Omni Health & Fitness Chesterton with parking and restrooms available on site. Additional parking will also be available in the grassy area to the east of Omni Health & Fitness, as well as at the new Chesterton Health & Emergency Center off of Robert Road.
