Pedometers are quite popular now, and I have been receiving lots of questions lately on which ones to choose.
A Pedometer is a device that tracks how many steps/miles you are traveling in a day and can help you to increase your movement throughout the day. They range in price … so keep in mind, some are more reliable than others. For the lower-priced pedometers, make sure you wear on your waistband above one leg or the other for the most accurate results.
When using a pedometer, make sure to put in on first thing in the morning and wear all day long. Track your steps to see your progress! I recommend averaging your steps for 3 days and then to make a goal, increase that number by 500-1,000. The ultimate goal is to reach 10,000 steps a day but keep in mind, you need to set your own individual goals.
